Now don't get me wrong as soon as i saw the Tomorrowland Youtube video, i along with the rest of the student army was adamant that I’d be attending. I got shown the video by a house mate in September she’d done the season in Ibiza and being a keen Festival go-er we where both on it for 2012. Over the last 5 months the video has been seen by EVERYONE and now suddenly they all loves house, even though last week they where at Oceana buzzing there tits off to Pitbulls latest one. Unfortunately I think ill be giving it a miss, the festival itself looks unreal, the effort of decoration makes Bestival look lazy..! I just feel it will be full of people who don’t actually give a fuck about the music, saw the video and jumped on the bandwagon! To be fair well done to the festival that’s one example of how to use social media in a successful way I don’t think anyone had even heard of the festival or even be going this year if it wasn’t for the 13 minute fairytale they created. It really pains me to say this but I feel its going to be the Belgium version of V Festival, where people only go to say they’ve been to a festival and care more about there fake eyelashes than appreciating the music.
